SENIOR ACCOUNT MANAGER

ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking a highly skilled and results-driven Senior Account Manager to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will collaborate closely with an Account Director to deliver exceptional client service and drive project success. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the delivery of projects to the highest standards, coordinating resources and stepping in for the Account Director when needed. With your project management expertise and financial acumen, you will ensure projects align with strategic goals, are completed on time, and stay within budget.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Project profitability
Ensure the highest quality of work is produced profitably and within the available budget.
Provide accurate administration and budget allocation across all projects, helping to grow Engage as a business.
Proactively monitor project for possible overruns or change of scope and highlight these risks to the Account Director.
Exhibit strong commercial awareness, flawless budget understanding, tracking and reporting to both the client and agency stakeholders including the Account Director, Financial Director, and Operations Director.
Client relationship building
Develop and maintain effective professional relationships with all key stakeholders on the project.
Ensure regular client contact, and where feasible, spend time on client site to develop quality relationships and foster network’s.
Ensure the client is updated on the project status at all times.
Gain the client’s respect and demonstrate a solid understanding of their business.
Diplomatically challenge the client and other project stakeholders with reasoned arguments and thinking.
Quality control
Produce quality briefings that enable Engage to produce our best work, on time, all the time.
Ensure briefs are signed off by the client, and the relevant resources are properly briefed.
Work swiftly and proficiently, upholding the highest quality standards.
Pre-empt client needs (proactive solution based thinking) and provide excellent time management on projects, clearly prioritising work.
Outline, organise, write and deliver quality presentations, reports and status updates.
Account growth and new business development
Support with the creation and development of new opportunities from existing client relationships. Think with the ‘bigger picture’ in mind.
Lead and inspire
Delegate effectively whilst providing team guardianship and ensuring the utmost quality control.
Effectively manage project resources, inspiring loyalty and commitment, and maintaining strong motivation.
KEY REQUIREMENTS
A minimum of 5 years in an Account Manager /client services role
Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, PR, or other related tertiary qualification
Excellent attention to detail
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
Fluent Arabic is a plus
Excellent time management skills
Excellent project management skills
MS Office Proficiency
Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects
Self-motivated and organised
