The challenge
One of the region’s top oil and gas providers needed assistance in communicating a fundamental shift in their corporate strategy. They wanted to introduce sustainable and environmentally friendly energy solutions that required new ways of working. Not only did they need their employees to understand this strategic change, but they also needed them to embrace and own their roles in executing it. Due to a multitude of languages, cultural backgrounds, and different literacy levels, this was a massive undertaking. That's where Engage stepped in.
The solution
We interviewed key stakeholders to clearly understand their requirements and followed this up with an inspiring campaign that utilised multiple channels and tactics. Leaders had traditionally employed a top-down communication approach, which we convinced them to abandon in favour of dialogue, empowering middle management with team tools and conversation points. It was a first for the business, and it worked. We also harnessed the power of illustration, creating a strategy map that showcased the strategic journey in a way that everyone could understand.
