The challenge
Having conducted an employee survey which revealed a need for greater leadership visibility and more frequent communications, one of the region's largest healthcare groups approached Engage to address these concerns. Whilst the CEO recognised the importance of communication, she lacked the time to communicate regularly, and wanted to empower middle management to open communication channels, especially as many caregivers worked different shift hours.
The solution
We developed a bespoke campaign designed to keep the CEO and leadership team front and centre in the workplace. Not only did this include monthly emails and blog posts, but also regular walk-the-floor sessions and leadership coffee chats. We offered additional support in the form of coaching, presentation development and speech notes for quarterly townhalls. We also empowered middle management with communication toolkits and monthly conversation cards so they could more effectively use shift handover meetings to convey key messages.
